Buttercross Bed and Breakfast is situated on the green in Market Place, Abbots Bromley and is a 3 storey grade listed building; we have 4 thriving pubs all within staggering distance and a wonderful Indian Restaurant.  For everyday needs there is a general store and  a traditional butchers. The renowned Abbots Bromley Girls School sits majestically on the main road and adds a vibrancy to the village.  You can arrive, park the car up and simply relax for a couple of days, or there are plenty of activities and attractions from 10 minutes to 1 hours drive away – make sure you check out  the ‘Things to Do and Packages’ in the information box to the right.

There is always a cake and a cup of tea waiting …

Buttercross Bed and Breakfast has been lovingly put together after a recent renovation project. We have stayed sympathetic to the age and style of the building, sourcing furniture and accessories from local antique emporiums, recycling vintage china and decorating with a nod to the heritage palette.  The only items that have been bought brand new (which I am sure you will be pleased to hear…) are the beds and the linen.  We hope that our environment encourages thought for the wider environment by using local suppliers for food stuffs, composting and recycling wherever possible – even the toilet roll is recycled (I know, that never sounds right does it!!) and using ‘fairtrade’ items. Please note that due to the age of the building, there are narrow stairways, uneven floors and low beams in places… which we feel adds to your experience.  To cut down on your carbon footprint we will be happy to discuss your journey here and any transfers you may need from train/bus stations.

We have stayed in many B&B’s over the years – some great, some not so ….!  We have tried to create an environment where you feel both at home but also a little pampered and special; if you feel we can improve or add anything we would be delighted to hear your comments and feedback

Buttercross Bed and Breakfast is a strictly NO SMOKING establishment
