What beautiful weather we are having, it certainly puts a spring in your step and gets you thinking about getting out in the fresh air.
I have been having some lovely meetings with Staffordshire’s finest artisans and attractions so that I can offer Buttercross guests some great opportunities to try something a little different that may just whet the appetite for a new past-time. We have basket weaving and sculpture overlooking Blithfield Reservoir, Play and Stay Packages at BeauDesert and Manor Golf Clubs, and very exciting news is that AltonTowers are giving Buttercross Guests discounted tickets for the whole season.
If you have always fancied having a go at Clay Pigeon Shooting or Fly Fishing then our very latest package is right up your avenue; Dave Beardsmore (England Olympic Champion no less) and Hairy Dave (Blithfield Reservoirs very own Gilly and Abbots Bromley’s much beloved character) have agreed to give our guests tuition in these dark arts; where else can you get this kind of one-to-one tuition – priceless! Check out the web-site and follow me on Twitter – @buttercrossbb – to get all the info and special offers etc.
I am continuing with my vintage crockery quest and came across some lovely items whilst meandering the antique haven that is Leek. As I arranged my latest purchase on the mantle shelf my delectable other half passed by – “Nice jugs” ……. I’m taking it as a compliment.
See you soon x
